Dhan Gopal Mukerji was an author of children's books an Indian living in the United States. 'Kari.' was his first published work, the story of an Indian Boy and his Elephant in various Indian settings. This copy is the 30th printing of the 1922 First Edition. 135pp, illustrated plates by J. E. Allen. Internally clean and unmarked. Tight, square binding. Green cloth shows some light edge wear to the extremities. Small stain to the front board.
